About our Chapter

Our Space City Chapter spans four school districts in the Southeast Houston Area – Clear Creek ISD, Dickinson ISD, Friendswood ISD, and Pearland ISD.

Space City Chapter is a nonprofit corporation with the mission to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.

We have a Six Year Program that a girl “Ticktocker” begins as a Provisional in grade 7 after joining while in grade 6.

Our Membership drive is in the Fall for the following year with the applications for membership due January 31.

Currently, our chapter supports 10 philanthropies in and around the South Houston/ Galveston area. Some of the community service areas supported by our chapter include: disadvantaged children’s services and education organizations, food pantries, the fine arts, homelessness, healthcare, children and adults with special needs, and animal organizations.

In the 2014-2015 volunteer year, our chapter completed more than 4,000 hours of community service.
